Wine Conversations: It's Not Easy Being Green (II)
It's even harder telling who really is.
Here we go again, folks. The second round of Wine Conversations was kicked off by the talented Stacey Midge, this time discussing the topic of sustainability, and more particularly what the various designations in use in the wine world mean, and how they matter to the consumer.
As always, if you have not read the first instalment of this round, please do as I want to avoid repeating many of the definitions so succinctly defined in Stacey’s post.
I have also covered the topic of certifications in a previous post of mine, which I believe goes into a fair bit of detail on this topic, outlining the key differences between the main certification options, be it sustainable, organic, biodynamic or regenerative. I also touch on some of the incentives that may compel producers to go through the trouble of getting a certification
