Limnio is a grape variety that is new to me. Usually this would mean having to do my own homework. But not in this case. Thanks for sharing this incredible deep dive!!

Very happy it can be of use! It’s really frustrating when you try to do your homework as it were and there’s so limited information out there. This condenses what I found out into one place which I much prefer when learning about a new varietal.

What a deep dive indeed! This is a great resource for a grape I've never heard of before... I'll be bookmarking this article for future study, too.

You might be a wino when your picure of a recommended bottle in that of an empty one :P Good luck with your plot of land/vineyard! I'm calling dibs on paying for exorbitant shipping to try some someday!

Oh, and what's a "blue varietal"? Googling that brings up unenlightening results.

Thanks! The vineyard is very much in its infancy (pre-planning stage or whatever you want to call it. The land is there but that’s about it). By blue varietal I simply mean a varietal that happens to be blue, rather than more black like some varietals when fully ripe. Zinfandel is another that gets a blueish hue. It’s a bit superfluous as it effectively is the oldest specified varietal on record regardless of colour.
